The maple box w/walnut lid is the original combination of woods that I made my first bean box out of. The dramatic coupling light and dark woods seems so natural. The peaks in the grain pattern make this such an interesting piece.
Bean Boxes are six sided boxes with a lid the fits into the box itself. Each box and lid are have magnets the help the lid to stay securely in place. These boxes are 6 ¾ high and 5 inches across at it’s widest point and were originally designed to hold a bag of coffee beans, however you can use it for whatever you would like.
The finish on the Bean Box is a 100% natural mix of Tung oil and Citrus solvent. This finish is completely food safe.
