Salt Boxes are six sided boxes with a spin top lid. Each box and lid have magnets to help the lid to stay securely in place when spun closed. These boxes are 2 3/8 high and 4 inches across at it’s widest point. As the name indicates these boxes were originally designed to hold sea salt that you would keep by you stove while you are cooking, however you can use it for whatever you would like.
The finish on the Salt Box is a 100% natural mix of Tung oil and Citrus solvent. This finish is completely food safe.
